Fresh Tomato Salsa

Fresh Tomato SalsaI know I share with you many salsa recipes, but this is by far the EASIEST one I have ever made and only takes a few ingredients! If you have a garden this summer, I would suggest making a bunch of this up to freeze for freshness all winter long….


Fresh Tomato Salsa


1 pound ripe tomatoes, seeded and diced
Juice of 1/2 lime
bunch of fresh cilantro-finely chopped
1/2 red onion-minced
1 clove garlic-minced
1/2 medium jalapeno-seeded and minced
Salt and pepper-to taste


In a medium plastic or glass bowl, stir together tomatoes and the next 5 ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.

**Will last 1 week in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

    I wish it could be summer right this minute just by looking at your photo and thinking of a fresh salsa to nosh on! I’ll make your salsa recipe as soon as possible, Anne . . . and work off all of the tortilla chip carbs on the treadmill afterwards!

      I know Roz! We are still under about 4 feet of snow and it is so depressing!!

      Right? We are still under so much snow, it feels like it will be a LONG time before summer gets here!!

    LOVE fresh salsa! Your picture has me practically reaching through the screen to grab a chip full. Now if we could just get a margarita and some warmer weather to go with it, we’d be set!! 🙂

      We could all use a bit of freshness right about now-still 3 feet of snow on the ground!!
