Cream Cheese & Fresh Chives
I planted my own little herb garden this year and I have an abundance of chives! I love chives and try to work them in to many recipes, however this easy peasy one really brings out the bright oniony flavor that I just love…

Chive Cream Cheese
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package 1/3 fat cream cheese-softened
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped fineDirections:
In a small bowl, mix up the cream cheese, garlic salt and black pepper until well combined. Add in the chives and stir lightly. Cover and refrigerate for an hour and then spread on bagels, celery sticks, crackers or anything your heart desires.

That looks so yummy! I love making my own spreads and fresh herbs make the best spreads. I love playing with herbs from my garden. This year I even got some strange herbs I can’t wait to try
Mmmmm. I love chive loaded cream cheese! How funny that I never thought to create a batch up on my own because it really is “easy peasy”!

that’s why I love food blogging, you never know what little things you are missing out on and they are ususally the easiest!
Sounds yummy, Anne! Chives are the one herb I am good at growing
Cream cheese sounds SO good right now!
