Cinnamon Sticks

Hmmm, what to do with that leftover frozen puff pastry…how about cinnamon sticks??  Easy as pie, but oh so good…

Cinnamon Sticks

Ingredients:

1 or 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
2 tablespoons butter-melted
cinnamon and sugar-mixed
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lay the puff pastry on a cutting board, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Cut sheet into 6 or 8 strips using a pizza cutter. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, turning half way through or until browned. Meanwhile, mix the powdered sugar and milk to your desired consistency. Remove sticks from the oven and dip in the frosting!
