Shrimp Scampi

1/2 cup butter In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add shallot and garlic; cook for about 2 minutes. Add wine, and cook for 2 more minutes. Stir in Herbes de Provence and lemon juice; cook stirring constantly for 1 minute. Add asparagus and shrimp and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring or until shrimp is cooked. Add the linguine. 2 tablespoons olive oil
1 shallot-minced
4 cloves garlic-minced
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon Herbes de Provence
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 bunch asparagus- cut into 1-inch pieces
1 1/2 pounds peeled fresh shrimp
1 (16 ounce) package linguine-cooked
