BLT Pizza
Sometimes there’s just nothing better than a good ‘ol Bacon Lettuce and Tomato sandwich. Seeing as how I don’t care much for tomatoes (I will say I’m getting better though) my BLT is a BLCheese, but that’s more information than you need to know. This was a throw together appetizer that turned out way better than expected! I was making a few appetizers for a recent get-together and was missing a few items for a different recipe, so i just started to improvize and now I have a new favorite appetizer, if you like BLT’s you will love this…
BLT Pizza
INGREDIENTS:
1 tube Pillsbury crescent rolls
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
2-3 cups shredded lettuce
9 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 Roma tomatoes, seeded** and chopped
2 green onions, finely chopped
6-8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll out crescent roll dough onto a greased 9 x 13 inch sheet pan, seal perforations. Bake for 12-15 minutes, watching so the edges don’t burn. Cool completely. In a small bowl, combine the mayo and mustard, spread over crust. Top with shredded lettuce, tomato, bacon, onions and cheese.
**Seeding the tomatoes with make for a better outcome because there won’t be so much liquid, everything will stay crisper.

Love BLTs and love pizza – together – WOW!
Ok, I am strange, I don't love blt's…because I don't love lettuce or tomatoes on my sandwich…but I will eat them cut up…so that looks amazing to me!
Ok, this looks good! Have you ever thought about entering the Pillsbury bake off? I've been thinking about doing it myself so I've reading up a bit on it. I'm willing to bet this recipe would do well!
Those look great! Really good for a little party.
You always have interesting pizzas Anne! We are pretty much typical here with our pizzas – cheese, pepperoni, sausage, though I ADORE veggie pizza. I could not imagine living without tomatoes – especially fresh from the garden summer tomatoes. We use a lot of tomatoes in cooking in this part of the south, but I also eat them plain, with salt & pepper, a little mayo, on sandwiches, in salsa, in salads, you name it!! I love BLTs so this would probably be right up my ole alley. Sounds good!
Happy Labor Day Weekend Anne!!
Wow! What a great idea! I love BLT's and I love pizza. I think combining the two into one is a brilliant idea! Must try.
Great recipe. I love using Pillsbury short cuts. Thanks for sharing.
